Picture Day is Monday, September 19th. *Did you know …* Canada eats more macaroni and cheese than any other nation in the world A French general gave John Quincy Adams a pet alligator. Adams kept it in one of the White House bathtubs and enjoyed showing it off. *Laker Sports* The middle school cross country team competed at Marion on Wednesday. Melodie Hulinek was the first Laker across the finish line and was joined by Bella Card, Bailey Lutz, and Peyton Buckner in leading the girl’s team to a first place finish. For the boys, Nolan Koscinski was the top Laker runner and was joined by Ronin Peterson-Breitner in a third place finish for the boys. The Varsity volleyball team lost to Marion 22-25, 16-25, and 12-25. Top servers were Riley Kilbourn and Scout Stulz. The middle school volleyball team also lost to Marion 20-25, 23-25, and 9-15. Avagrace Grady had 11 points and 4 aces, Brynlee Ware had 4 points and 3 aces, Cassidy Brown had 3 points and 2 aces, Alyvia Harthun had 3 points, and Jennifer Magana Garcia had 2 points.
