A recruiter from the Army will be in today for a lunch visit. There is a high school dance tomorrow for 8th – 12th grade students after the basketball game until 11:00 p.m. Come to the game and get in the dance for $2 or $5/person. Dance passes are available in the high school office and must be completed by noon tomorrow. There are no CTC classes on Monday. Students are to sign in by noon. The Prom Boutique, located at the Armory, will be open the following days: Saturdays: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. January 21st & 28th; February 4th & 11th Tuesdays/Thursdays: 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. January 19th, 24th, 26th, & 31st; February 2nd, 7th, & 9th It’s time for students (must be 14 years, 8 months old by April 10th) to sign up for Moss’ Road Rules Drivers Training Segment I. Please stop by the high school office to scan the QR code to register for the class. Cost is $400 and due on April 10th. Don’t hesitate, the class will fill up quickly. Laker Sports The Varsity girls basketball team defeated Baldwin 40-20. Taylor Merrill had 12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks, Scout Stulz had 7 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 steals, and Dafne Yanez Chavez had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 6 steals, and 2 assists. The middle school girls basketball team lost to Mesick 17-23. Cassidy Brown had 11 points, Peyton Buckner had 4 points and Tessa Rutherford had 2 points. The JV and Varsity boys basketball teams travel to Brethren.
