Join the Young Writer’s Group at the Bear Lake Library tomorrow at 3:00. Any writers interested in starting or finishing a book, poetry, short stories, or anything! You will receive feedback, give input, learn different writing styles, and even find cheap ways to get writings published! 3rd-5th graders sign up for Laker Basketball Fundamentals camp. Practices are Saturday Mornings 10:00 – 11:30. Games will be during halftime of all home games for the High School Basketball Teams. Please sign up by this Friday. The Prom Boutique opens this Saturday at the Armory from 1-4. It will be open Tuesdays 3-5:30 and Saturdays 1-4 all month. Go to the high school office for more information. Auditions for the Cooperative Drama Musical, The Lion King, Jr., are January 9th and 10th at the Onekama School band room at 6 pm. Students only need to attend ONE of the audition dates. Auditions are open to any student in grades 4-12. All rehearsals and performances are held at Onekama School and students are responsible for their own transportation. Performance dates are March 15-17. Attention seniors: The Manistee Community Foundation Scholarship is open for you to apply.
