March 18, 2024 Bear Lakes Polar Plunge team, led by Kaylee Cherry and Lillian Hall, raised over $1,200 for Michigan Special Olympics on Saturday and jumped in a pool of cold water at Manistee Little River Casino along with 11 other Bear Lake students to help the cause. Bear Lake finished 2nd out of 7 schools participating. Thank you to all who contributed to this event. The Armory is hosting a free Spring Break Staycation for 6th-12th graders. There are only two countries with names that begin with “The.” Laker Sports Bear Lakes Robotics Team Potential Energy competed at Traverse City West this past weekend in a District Tournament Event. After finishing with 7 wins and 5 losses and a ranking of 22 out of 40 teams, Bear Lake was selected to compete in the championship rounds where they lost in the semi finals.
