March 18, 2024 Bear Lakes Polar Plunge team, led by Kaylee Cherry and Lillian Hall, raised over $1,200 for Michigan Special Olympics on Saturday and jumped in a pool of cold water at Manistee Little River Casino along with 11 other Bear Lake students to help the cause. There are only two countries with names that begin with “The.” Laker Sports Bear Lakes Robotics Team Potential Energy competed at Traverse City West this past weekend in a District Tournament Event. After finishing with 7 wins and 5 losses and a ranking of 22 out of 40 teams, Bear Lake was selected to compete in the championship rounds where they lost in the semi finals.
